About Me

I build websites and web applications that enable businesses to better serve their customers by focusing on customer needs and business goals.

My experience includes work for commercial and non-profit clients, as well as projects completed in NAIT's Computer Systems Technology program and in my current studies of computer science at Dalhousie University. I aim to create engaging online experiences that help businesses connect with their customers.

What?

Web Design

In today's market, simply having a website is not enough. Consumers demand a higher level of quality, functionality, and usability than ever. With your competitors just a click away, a quality website is an investment worth making.

From simple brochure websites to advanced e-commerce, contact me to discuss what you'd like to achieve online and how I can help you.

Custom Software

Your business is unique, so why use generic software? Custom applications can be created to streamline business processes, reduce errors, and increase employee productivity. Gain an advantage over your competition and increase employee satisfaction with software that does the hard work for you.

How?

By focusing on the user's needs and working in short iterations, websites and applications can deliver business results from day one.

User-centred Design

By defining who the users are and what their goals are, effort can be focused on areas that deliver the most usable end product. Including real users in the process provides constant feedback for an end product that is useful, enjoyable, and reflects well on the business.

Agile Development

Rather than completing a project in large phases, I cycle through quick iterations many times. Each iteration produces an output (eg. working website) which allows for client input and testing with real users. This approach provides a great deal of flexibility and cost-effectiveness.

The end result? A flexible process which produces products that perform better, meet the needs of the business, and have high levels of user satisfaction.
